THAT is the player we need to get.

I am OK working with Apple, Pride, Jackson at CB and Chinn at the nickel.  I do not want to bury the developmental talent behind journeymen. 

We need a TE--badly.

It is funny to see how many of these names are being cut after 1 or 2 seasons--when I had them on my mock drafts.

I liked the idea of taking a chance on him during that draft, but achilles injuries can be career killers for some guys.  From what I've read, there's been flashes, just a lack of consistency.

He was certainly a great story but his having a real NFL career was always a long shot.
