Anyone else getting “Dream Team Eagles” vibes from the Bucs?

Why do Panthers fans keep wanting to see Brady throw downfield? He doesn’t need to. Godwin, Evans, Gronk and Howard aren’t deep threats.

Bruce Arians offense is what it is.

What QB lead the NFL in deep ball pass attempts last season? Winston.

Combine Winston and Fitz the year prior and it adds up to 8th in deep ball attempts.

Winston also has an undiagnosed case of color blindness, so there's that.

But Arians "no riskit, no biscuit" offense is definitely aggressive.  Personally I don't see Brady having an issue with it, but I do think Brady will bring some of his short completion game into each week's gameplan and Arians/Leftwich will let him have it.

I mean they would be dumb not to bring in some of Brady's small ball game.  I mean is great at it.

But 43 is 43.  There are legit questions about Brady's arm being able to handle this season and Arians offense IMO.

That’s why I said in one of my earlier posts that Arians would be the reason to hold that team back this season if there is one. Arians is an overrated HC. A great HC will play to the strengths of his QB especially when it is Tom Brady. I just think that Arians is dumb enough to force Brady into being something he’s not. I never liked Kubiak much in Houston but he changed his coaching for Peyton Manning in Denver. And that gave him a SB ring.

Peyton's age also caught up to him.  When it did.  That mega football brain didn't really matter.

43 is 43.  Deep ball offense.  Tampa heat.  I mean, it is hard to bet against Brady.  But if you were going to.....this would be the year.

Great comparison. Elway added Peyton, Talib, Ware and Ward. Went to the SB twice and won 1.

But as a reminder, they won that 2015 Super Bowl by overcoming bad QB play.  Peyton was clearly more liability than asset. 2015 Super Bowl and that season was achieved on the back of an all-time defense.

Unless Brady drank gallons of virgin vampire bloods, he doesnt scare me beyond this year. One thing getting over-looked his his pats WRs compared to bucs WR. Pats WRs where short yard slots types, opposite of the bucs ones. 16 games is a long season for 43 year old QB that doesnt move great with a meh OL.

Besides I'll go on record and say Bruce Arians will quit after this seasons failure.

18-1 losing in the Super Bowl to the Cam Newton led Patriots.

I mean that would be awesome.

Accepting the fact the Panthers got no shot this year...that would be a fantastic storyline to watch play out.

FUG THE PATS!

Peytons’s age didn’t get him. ACDF did.

Peyton was all pro/pro bowler after his surgery.   But 40 is 40.  Your body not holding up to the NFL....is age coming to play.

Brady is 43.  He ain’t Superman and will be playing in a scheme and environment that will tax and push his body like it hasn’t been since hr got older.

Peyton's injuries caught up with him more than his age, particularly the leg injury he suffered that season.
