What happened tonight 24? :D Aaron Afflalo? :smilielol5:

2nd night of a back to back. Lakers flew in from a late LA game and finally hit their hotels at 4:00AM. FYI, exact same thing hapened last year. I don't take the Nuggets lightly though, they will be in the Conference Fianls with the Lakers. Carmelo Anthony is the best player in the NBA who gets no Pub. U gotta like everything Nuggets except the Birdman retard.

The Lakers miss Pau Gasol. Kobe Bryant is their best player, but they didnt become an elite team til they acquired Pau Gasol. He gives them size, he can pass, he allows Odom to play weakside and get garbage points and stickbacks (and come off the bench). Look no further than their record prior to his arrival, and their record since.

How bout Ty Lawson tonight too? MONSTER DUNK on Mbenga.

True, but the lakers have still hobbled to a 7-2 record. :P

Pretty tough for any player to win it all without help, just ask Lebron.

Regular season is just foreplay in the NBA anyways, home court is all that's really at stake for most playoff teams.

Nuggets are winning the title IMO. They are SOOOOOOOOOO deep and the Lakers really don't have a good bench, aside from Brown and sometimes Farmar.

It's November still and the Lakers still haven't gotten Gasol on the court yet......bit premature to proclaim a new king in the West don't you think.......

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
