he's great but he's a rb.  maybe he'll be the exception to the rule but that's a big risk.

Look at his snap percentage and production. If any player earned that kind of money, regardless of the position it’s him.

He’s making slightly more than Travis Kelce a TE.

Yes he’s listed as a RB but we all know he’s much more than just a RB for us. His production and value to the team is right on par with several other offensive playmakers and a better value than some.

A lot of stats to go through to show we overpaid even when we didnt have to.  I just hope the cap keeps going up so in 2 years this doesnt hinder us from going all in on a super bowl run

You get an all pro running back and an all pro slot receiver in a single player. He's worth it. I can't wait to see how Brady uses him.

CMC definitely deserves it. He has unique qualities to him that are beyond just the "RB" position. What he offers as a WR and in terms of his consistency is pretty remarkable.

CMC is a HOF talent. You have to keep that kind of talent on the roster. I think the issue comes with spending money on RBs that are good but not great (I.E. Melvin Gordon, David Johnson, Lev Bell after sitting out a whole season, etc)

I'm not much on paying RB's that much, but if he can stay healthy, and that's a big ask, he will be worth it.

Even if we ride him till the end, we would still be dumping him at 29.  He could go be an effective slot at that point, weather that be here or not.

CMC has set himself up to be one of the rare 3rd big contract RB's.
