He's not parking compact cars--

I have shared many times the OTAs I witnessed where he was verbally abusive to new rookie Dwayne jarrett.  I even spoke to Jarrett about it after practice, telling him to hang in, and he slapped my hand very hard and looked at me as if he was about to tear up.  Steve Smith is an asshole--no receiver not already on the roster when he arrived prospered here.  There is a reason.

I am a professor of education leadership at a state university---I can tell you that one issue we deal with is a great teacher who is abusive and condescending to peers/teams.  It is a tough problem--what do you do with the teacher with the great test scores and solid classroom management skills--one that does not attempt to make those around her./him better, instead, makes them unhappy and angry--

The answer is, in most cases:  Get rid of the good teacher and everyone else improves more than the great teacher's benefit.  That is how I see Smith.

I agree but I lost all sympathy and respect for Benjamin after he threw Cam under the bus when he was traded to the Bills. Came off like sour grapes but I digress.

Kelvin had fuged up poo going on in his life. Loses his mom then gets traded. Lot of loss. That fugs with people. Everything before was nothing but praise about him as a person. Good guy. Just lazy as a pro. People need to separate the two.
 

steve smith is an asshole to call him out like that when kelvin has never said a word about smitty. I wouldn’t say I word to that dude ever regardless of how entertained I was on sundays by him. He is an egomaniac.

I love what Smith did on sunday for our team. He was and is probably top 3 all time here. That being said, its hard, from the outside looking in to see how he was a good teammate.

We all like to poo to Deangelo and the things he has said are crazy but I still really respect how he treated J Stew after he was drafted and feel like the only reason we had those successful running years was because he was not prideful and put the team first. 

We need 'team' guys over divas. I think our team is being built with that in mind currently.

I am a huge Florida state fan. So with that said Benjamin won us a national championship. I stand by my draft thoughts he was a solid first round pick. His talent was good enough. He looked like the answer year one. He was a monster in single coverage and red zone situations. He would drop the easy ones but then make Richard sherman and earl Thomas look stupid as they double teamed him. His is exactly what you get at the back of the first round.

Obvious talent but, maybe some holes in their game. He wasn't the fastest and his work ethic was trash... could have also contributed to cams demise as well as running that lazy route and not chasing down the int... so there is that.

There are plenty of things respectful people choose not to say, even if they’re not wrong. Not being wrong is not a justification to say something.

You know...that is the lessons we teach our 6 year old who yells out things like ‘that lady is fat!’ Unfortunately, not everything understands these important lessons.

I’ve worked with Smith for years and know quite a bit  about him. He is not a good person and he is the type who does not say anything unless it’s negative or a critique. Even to people he likes. He attracts damaged people. I feel bad for him, that kind of stress does not lead to a long, happy life.
