It all starts in the trenches. BIG STRONG GUYS.

Well, you are right about that. The modern linemen have to be big, strong, smart and fast, plus in the 300 lb plus range.

Ones who are all of those things, not averse to massive, continuing collisions, able to play an entire game on offense without rotating out AND able to learn a playbook and execute it on gameday... well, those guys are really, really rare.

I think we're building those guys, but it's tough to tell before they get out there and in a real game with all of the headslaps, stunts and double teams.

Defensive line seems to be in the process of being fixed and shows promise. If we do not have the opportunity to draft a top QB prospect next year, drafting O line with our first 3 picks would not bother me one bit.

If we went OL 1st-3rd rounds, I'd go ahead and call an ambulance for my forthcoming 4+ hour erection.

With Hurney the 2nd and 3rd picks would be a bust and we would have traded our 4th and 5th to move up in the 3rd.
