If Bridgewater has a good showing this season...(an exercise in critical thinking and problem solving)

I see no chance in hell Teddy is a good QB and were anywhere near TL. We arguably have one of the top 10 offenses on paper this year (if okung plays) with Anderson, DJ, Samuel, and CMC. If the other team scores 30? Teddy has no excuse not to score 35. Joe brady will show some interesting looks that will take the nfl time to figure out.

Im going to base this off of a few things and it totally goes against my #1 belief. Here what it takes to break rule number one- the panthers projected 2021 starting OL. Also its harder to find a great LT than QB and that leads into this- Penei Sewell, he maybe the best LT in the last 20 years. If the panthers draft one of the top 3 QBs, he will get killed behind the 2021 OL and set this team back another 5 years. Use that pick on Penei and have a group of QBs whating to play for the panthers as a result. Just on ranking alone Penei maybe higher than the top 3 QBs.

I don't think you can pick a LT over a QB unless you are going to move all in on Bridgewater or you just aren't convinced about the QB options.

All that said, it would be amazing to finally have a good LT again. We have neglected or bungled LT forever.

If he looks solid and we have an opportunity for a QB very high on our board, you draft the QB, let him learn behind Teddy for a year and then work out a trade for Teddy his final year. You gain draft capital, hopefully fix your offensive line the year the rookie is sitting and aren’t rushing your new franchise QB out too early. I don’t see Teddy being elite, even if he is efficient and has a solid year. If you have a chance for an elite QB, you take it...
