MartyMagic,!!!11!!!1!1 also another one of my "waaaay too early" 53 man roster picks is wrong.

Like others I didnt like the pick, I know @stbugs hated it too(wanted DE Charles Owiinibvfaybrgcbarydncja) Then I heard a scout on the radio, reaaaaaly talk up this pick and it was a steal blah blah. Hearing that helped put a end my not agreeing with the pick. Now here we are one year later and hes cut.... Guess he didnt fit with what Rhule wanted and no one would even offer a 3rd string LB in return.

I wondered (since they kept Davis on a bad contract, if you ask me) if Scarlett would be the odd man out.  I was right---everybody--I called this to myself.

Seriously, He ran under a 4.5 and benched over 450 lbs coming out of college---so the work ethic argument could be the case, but smallish speedy RBs aren't born benching 450 lbs.    He just does not have the versatility?  I dunno.  In 2019, in four carries, he had 9 yards.

Could hear in a few days he was popped for PEDs and they didnt want to wait. Also you can run 4.5/bench 450 and be lazy. Similar to if you take a bodybuilder and put him on a oil platform working next to other riggers. Most wouldnt last a day.

I’m guessing his hands in the receiving game could be his downfall.  If Brady’s offense has a based around him catching the ball he could have just not gotten better at that.  He was working on it last year.  But you don’t easily change stone hands.

This is what I suspect as well.

People get so excited over players that will likely never be anything in the NFL. If he was worth having around, they would have kept him.

I think mostly people like to bitch about the wasted pick because of the fantasy that we could have used that pick on someone else who would have been a stud.
