Things I think I think from watching today's training camp practice

Lol. All my friends that are Panthers fans see the roster, see the defense is the youngest defense in 10 years. But Jeremy, sees a practice and he’s “excited.” Hell, even my friends that aren’t Panthers fans know we’re going to suck. But sure, Jeremy. Sure.

How many of your friends have seen them practice...

Jeremy's opinion > friends opinion

Nothing wrong with being excited about our young team and players with potential. Are we going to make a playoff run? Doubt it. But having one if the youngest rosters is a good way to start a rebuild. On defense Brown, YGM, Burns, Chinn (and Robinson in my opinion) have potential to be great. Jackson, Shaq and KK gave already shown great skills (I know Jackson had a bad year last year, but his rookie reason was solid). Combine this young talent (KK being the exception on age) with a new staff is definite exciting. There could also we dark horse players who surprise it, maybe Apple, Pride, or even Elder starts clicking and has a decent season. I imagine we will get last place in our division, but I’m watching to see these guys develop into a good young roster that will start our rebuild off right. If we get one of these young QBs in next year’s draft, they could easily have a young talented defense to bail them out early and often.

Absolutely! Get the young guys plenty of PT, and hopefully they stay in games and win 2 games tops. Yes sir!

He has a softer touch and is better with the short throws. Almost always hits guys in stride. Anticipates and throws to a spot instead of relying on arm strength to get the ball there in an instant.

We havent seen someone play QB this way in a decade here.  Could be a welcome breath of fresh air.  One of my biggest gripes with Cam was always hitting the guy in stride and anticipation.  With the YAC guys we have on offense, it could be really fun to watch these guys.  I could see us averaging 30 points a game on offense, and giving up 30 a game on defense.

Only thing we can all say for certain right now is that this is definitely not your Daddy's Carolina Panthers.  Im excited to see what happens.

People don't want to admit it, but it is totally plausible for this staff to believe that Teddy is better equipped to do what they want schematically than Cam was, and they might be correct.

That doesn't mean Teddy is the better QB, that just means Teddy might be better at doing what they want a QB to do.

Seems to me we are trying to run something like the LSU/Saints offense.  If thats so, Bridgewater is a great choice as he should already know it like the back of his hand.  Didnt Brady or Rhule say somewhere that they wanted to take what the Saints do on offense and emulate it here?  Or did I make that up?

Obviously,  considering they made the change.

Not obviously, there are plenty around here who think he is nothing more than a "bride" qb.

People are overrating his knowledge of the system being the selling point.  Pro QBs are smart enough to learn new systems, if they aren't they don't tend to last.  If anything prior knowledge just speeds up the learning process, its not like we are in a hurry to win the Super Bowl this upcoming season.

They are high on Teddy because of his skillset, or perceived skillset, the familiarity is just a bonus.

I think they lose a bunch at the start, but out together some wins late in the season. I'm thinking 5-11

As long as he doesn’t say the Panthers will be a good team, if he does that, Yeesh.

That doesn't sound like he's saying they will be a good team?
