So... Lets talk WR depth chart.

A discussion on the Carolina Panthers Wide Receivers depth chart. 

 

Here is the current roster....

 

We know that Moore, Anderson, Samuel are automatically in. 

 

So, which other 3 are your picks to make the team? I want to say Pharoh is a safe bet but not sure.

Bayless (he is lighting it up right now)

Roberts (Slot experience and Y experience)

If we carry 7 ill go TommyLee or Zylstra

If we only keep 5 I say the 3 locks plus Cooper and Bayless. Cooper for returning chops and reports on Bayless have been really positive and while he’s not big, he does provide a bit more size than DJ, Samuel and Cooper. 
 

Not a fan at all of all the ex-Saints scrubs we signed, but there is probably a pretty good chance at least one of them sticks.

 

Also, need to take into account practice squad rules being different... We could keep Bayless (for example) initially just to put him on the PS week 1 without losing him and fill that spot with a vet less likely to get claimed (assuming Bayless is the real deal like reporters are saying).

I would have said that Kirkwood had a shot, even if he is a ex-Saints scrub, lol, mainly because of his Temple connection and size. But I guess that's probably a done deal now.

If Bayless makes the team and impress during the season, I'm glad there's not much college ball this year. Would have spent an unhealthy amount of time scouting wr for the draft....

Even if he doesn't, I'm all for trying to get the future at QB and beefing up the OL in this coming draft.

I'm not understanding. How could Bayless possibly be safe if he's on the PS?

If we risk an undeveloped, but talented Bayless for some underwhelming NFL journeyman, I'm not going to be happy. That would be some Rivera-esque type sh¡t!
