I mean, I don't like it. The entire point is to have a contrasting color so defenders know not to touch the person wearing it. That green doesn't contrast as much to the Panthers blue as the red does.

Yeah yellow or orange probably would've been better.

Y'all will complain about anything. You couldnt pay me to care about this

But I see you find the time to complain about complaining for absolutely free. Interesting.

No one cares it’s the off-season, just shooting poo on the forum. If you think otherwise or can find time to complain about complainers I encourage you to drink a beer or go have sex.

The reason for green instead red; according to Rhule red indicate a player is injured. Jokingly said he wants his quarterbacks to stay healthy. Source theriotreport.com "Dispatches From Training Camp 2020: Inside A Matt Rhule Practice by Josh Klein on B/R

Oh man, then why not pick bright yellow or orange, pink, lime free  I mean hell he could have even gone with Baylor gold. Any high visibility color. Dark green(Baylor green obviously) is not a high visibility color especially with most of them in black underneath.

    • This is an often used, yet very misleading argument. There is no such thing as a team not making money in the NFL. Revenue sharing, TV contracts, etc. guarantee every team makes money every season. On the other hand, yes, one can call out an owner for being "cheap," but I'd offer that you should look at their cap situation before making that declaration. So, let's not confuse "cheap" ownership and how much money the team is making because they're 2 completely different things. In 2023, the league set another record with $13B in revenue, working out to $400M per team. https://www.sportico.com/leagues/football/2024/nfl-national-revenue-2023-tv-13-billion-1234786762/ The NFL’s economic model is the envy of every other major sports league, thanks to two main principles. The system benefits from a relatively hard salary cap that restricts owners from NBA-like spending that triggers luxury tax penalties. In 2023, the NFL salary cap was $224.8 million, with each club also on the hook for nine-figures worth of player benefits, stadium costs and team expenses. The other huge plus is the guaranteed check from the league each year that dwarfs the cap before a team sells a single ticket, beer, sponsorship or parking space. The result is that every NFL team is wildly profitable and worth at least $4 billion, with an average franchise value of $5.14 billion last year. Oh, and the team with the least amount of cap space as of yesterday, by some $2.6M, is the Carolina Panthers, with a mere $909k at their disposal. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/_/year/2024/sort/cap_maximum_space
    • Trey Lance weren’t for a 4th and that’s with NFL tools. He is the most comparable insta bust that a team overpaid for.  so using that as the market, 5th or 6th for Bryce IMO and we would be lucky.  Basically just a team trying to get around the waivers that was interested in a project.  The not having the physical tools part is the killer.
    • I'm not interested in seeing ANY more assets spent on offense and we can get a high pick by standing pat on the D and getting those backups snaps.  The more points we need to keep up, the more the offense gets experience and gives us some entertainment.
