i have always maintained that the people who argue that teddy is more than what he is (some waging a not so subtle proxy war via teddy) are doing him a tremendous disservice. it sets him up for backlash that he doesn’t deserve. he’s a fine player. low end starter, high end backup. biggest drawbacks are the length of the contract and his ability to manage games in a way that will place us out of picking guys like lawrence and fields.
