I think he's really underrated and if we could get him for a 4th or later round pick I'd take that.

Let me get this straight, you think he is underrated? He was picked 9th overall and you think we should offer a 4th round or later for him but he is REALLY underrated.

ya NOW finally....after saban, cameron, wanstead...its a long drawn cluster-f**k of terribleness! that has screwed us for years.....we still have jason allen on our team....sabans #16 overall pick......hes a glorified special-team ace.....its pathetic....saban also picked daunte culpepper over drew brees.......thanks alot....:banghead:
i knew there was a reason that i didn't like the dolphins...there it is.

Fin, I really did think Saban would do better than that in the pros. Everyone in Miami must hate him...

we do.

i worked it sports radio there when he left.....people calling him "Osaban Bin Lyin"

it was horrible. our owner gave him everything he wanted.....hes a POS.....he said it himself though...."you can get as many #1 draft picks in college if you recruit good enough"

Umm... I'm talking about his perceived value today, not when he was drafted.

Nobody is offering up a high first round pick for him now. He was overrated by Miami to go that high when they drafted him, but alot of people underrate him today, saying he's basically worthless.

I think he'd be well worth a late round pick. The vast majority of the players taken in round 4 or later end up not making it in the NFL at all, or just as backups/role players. He has things he needs to work on, sure, but he has alot more upside than most players taken in the late rounds so it'd be worth the gamble to me.

gotta link?

hopefully this means we get a #1 WR in the draft or trade/free agency.......dez bryant would be great. ginn is a garbage ass WR......runs lazy poo routes, drops balls, and has a learning disability which causes him to have to "get warm" to even do anything as a WR......please trade him....im sick of him. dont let his one good game returning kicks fool you.....hes soft...he runs out of bounds instead of picking up first downs, he has terrible yards after catch.....i cant wait to get rid of him

cam cameron is a a-hole.....drafting ginn #9 overall instead of patrick willis or darelle revis.....whata joke

Ummmm. Didn't every Fin fan want Quinn with that pick?

If not every, it was damn close.

Dan Parr of Pro Football Weekly is reporting that the Miami Dolphins want to trade 3rd year WR/KR Ted Ginn, Jr., after this season, and that they might only be able to get a late round draft pick for him.

Would the Panthers be wise to offer a 4th rd pick for Ted Ginn,Jr.?

a 4th? heck no.

Last season Ginn had 56 catches, for a 14.1 yard average, with a long of 64 yards, and 2 TD's last season. Ginn was also the Dolphins 1st round pick in 2007, #9 I think. To get him for only a late round pick might be a real bargain.

Ginn would bring the speed the Panthers lack at WR (except for Steve Smith), but except for 3 WR sets they might not be able to play Ginn (5-11, 178), and Smith (5-9, 185) at the same time, due to their small size. Ginn would answer the Panthers need for a kick returner, and be a great backup/ future replacement for Steve Smith. In a draft with little top WR talent after the top 5 or 8, he would be much better than anyone the Panthers could get as a draft pick or free agent.
