They are making a Covid related comeback sort of.  Several local businesses around me have sign's in the window, debit/credit cards and checks accepted.  No change given for cash or something to that effect.

Floating checks was easy 20 years ago when they took several days to go through the bank.  Kids are hungry? No food on wednesday? Dont get paid till friday? Float a check.  Now its almost like a debit card transaction.  Feel bad for young families who cant do some of the things we had to to survive.

So only 192x the median NC household income in 10 years. Not bad. Oh wait... those households have to pay taxes too. It's probably closer to 250x the median NC household income.
