Matt Rhule on DJ Moore

I think the fact Moore shows zero emotion to the eye plays into how people view his play.   I'd apply a version of that to Peppers maybe too.

If he wants the big $$$, he's going to have to get better in the red zone....but he's young, good, and athletic.  Moore is one of Hurney's good moves since he's been back.

P.S. I do not think that DJ will get a lot better in the red zone with Teddy manning the helm.  Just putting that out there.

it was a huge fuging issue and eventually tore the defense apart. everyone knew how good peppers was and what he could do if he wanted. peppers thought he was doing what he was supposed to do. it was a multi level failure and a huge what if. the usual thing we can all agree on is give steve smith peppers' physical talent; how many sacks a year does that player get?

Peppers would have 300 sacks and nearly all the important DE history stats. That would mean the NFL allowed him to keep playing after killing a QB on the field tho. O he'd still be playing and pulling double-duty as a goal-line TE to pad his career leading defensive player TD record too.
