Obviously just the beginning of the series and all but damn I really didnt want the Bruins. I hate all those obnoxious azzhats who were bragging like....

Canes got jobbed twice, on the allowed goal and the no call/call in OT. Have legit gripes with how the game was called, and there needs to be some way of appealing or protesting.

Bruins, Lightning, Caps, Flyers makes zero difference. They’re all great teams and we’d have to get by likely 2 of them regardless. Doesn’t matter when so why would anyone be scared of the Bruins right now.

They are bigger and kept possession almost the entire game. They are clearly the better team. I hate that too, but they match up well against us and they wanted to play us. That’s why they looked so bad in the Round Robin.

We ain’t the Aints so let’s just play on and win the series. Rule change could be coming though to prevent any goals like Boston’s 2nd happening again. If not, the precedent is set that when a goalie has it covered you can whack the sh*t out of his glove hand until it comes loose so you can score. Don’t matter if you break his wrist as long as the whistle isn’t blown. Bush league stuff there for sure. Shouldn’t have been a goal and should’ve been a penalty on the Bruins, instead it’s the opposite for both of those. That’s egregious and was the difference this game.

We played like absolute poo and every one of our skaters looked like they were skating through mud, and that has nothing to do with the Bruins. Yet we still took them to 2OT and scored the same number of legit goals as them. If we get our heads out of our own asses going forward there’s no reason we can’t win. They’re not that much better of a team if at all.

we were chasing the puck most of the game, spending way too much time defending, yet still had chances to come out with a W. we’ll see what adjustments are made for game 2.

Rask looked very beatable, I will say that. He crushed us last year.

We have to get on top of their scripted plays. Besides the bullshit goal they couldn’t score anything outside of their script. I’ll think we’ll bounce back tomorrow night if we can get our skating up.
