Oh man still buzzing off that third period last night. Was really worried in the first two but the defense stepped up. Too bad we got a week until the canes hit the ice again.

The Canes went out and beat Washington in Game 7 last year, swept the Isles last year and they weren't supposed to beat either of them.

The Canes didn't belong in the same league as the Rangers during the regular season, losing all 4 and not looking very good in any of them. Guess what? A sweep in the play-in series.

I think they can play with anyone.

Yep but what we’ve seen in the meantime has been good for us. If Leafs lose and don’t win the lottery and the Oilers don’t come back we’ll have their pick which will be 13th overall. We could win the cup and pick 13th overall while already having an insanely young and deep team and prospect pool...

I think the Bruins are better than the Caps but I also think Caps will remember us beating them last year and give us a real fight. Meanwhile same goes for us and the Bruins I think we’ll remember last year and want our vengeance. 
 

No matter who it is, I’m not worried, our team can go all the way and beat anyone in our path.

What we need is to hope we continue to remain healthy and these streaky goalies stay dialed in.
