I'm not sure that is against Rhule. All he did during that clip was coach speak, talk positively while revealing nothing of value. The fact he said it right before Gano was cut makes me think he wasn't in the loop. Someone that good at coach speak wouldn't have made that mistake. Makes me wonder how much Hurney and Rhule are on the same page...

Just a reminder for the guys here who made Gano the whipping boy throughout his time in Carolina.

He was statistically better than Kasay, had a better leg, and had several big  leg game closing kicks.

Ya'll always have to learn the hard way that kicking a known quantity to the curb for a unknown often results in a worse outcome. So many players you guys were hyped on being cut, then for years after we couldn't find a reasonable replacement.

I’m referring to Gano showing thick skin. The dude’s a millionaire. We can show empathy for him losing his job but at the end of the day he should be happy as hell that he’s in the position he’s been in anyways.

"Housecleaning continues" = cuts.

"Incredible change in one offseason" = Luke et al.

House cleaning = cuts/trades, ie no longer wanted/unfavored/benefited team to be without. A retiree should not be lumped in with house cleaning...

Thats also the game that defenses learned you could literally "head hunt" cam and get away with it.  Refs were a complete joke.
