Still pains me to see Butker in KC. Hurney actually kept him and Gano on the roster at the same time for a few weeks in the regular season then got rid of Butker. What a joke

These are bittersweet for me as well.  I hate seeing folks be forced to leave a place they gave their heart and soul even if it is time.  It would be trickier for me if he wasn't getting paid for the next 2 years and has the opportunity to potentially still earn else where.  He doesn't have to uproot his family so thats not a concern I share but I wish the Gano family well.   I will always remember the Super Bowl year - the spanish announcers call of the Gano kick!

Bad post. Coach said "he looks healthy" is not lying. He probably did look good. Having extra guys on the roster now made the move happen sooner than later. 

Also, Gano was great for the community, went to a lot of school functions for the kids and was a great guy and pretty solid kicker. I will miss him. I like Joey and understand why, just bittersweet. Gano's request for music was FFDP so he had an edge to him.
