Dear lord, we better not sign another kicker! 3 is too many anywayz!

I went to the North Charleston homecoming game. The kicker got hurt the first game, so they lined everyone up on the team and had them kick the ball. It ended up that this huge DT, that they call shark does all the kicking. It was pretty funny, you could tell he didnt want to do them, but coach is making him!

haha

He's not as good as John, no. But you guys have to realize, we've been blessed to have John for this long. He's one of the premier kickers in league HISTORY. We've literally witnessed one of the true greats perform his craft.

This might sound stupid, but I think we should get a roster exemption for Lloyd. They talk about growing the game overseas, why not give a free roster spot to teams that carry, and actually use, an international player?

That's a good point, just like they did for the guys from the NFL Europe. Give a free roster spot to teams who sign one of the players.

He did it in college. At least he knows HOW to thankfully.

Give him a shot he seems to have a pretty accurate leg from what I have heard from his pre-game kicks. I could have swore I heard he was kicking them from 65 in practice constantly. He might be an excellent Kicker that could really be a weapon. Think if he could hit 60+ yarders consistently.

In college he was hitting 66% of his FG in 2007 in NFL Europe (Kicking is Kicking) he improved to 70% it shows he was improving at least. Who knows how far he has progressed. He didn't play Kicker until his senoir year in HS.

Kasay's listed as questionable with his groin injury.

For the past two offseasons, there have been some people suggesting that we cut Kasay and let Lloyd do the field goals to save a roster spot.

If Kasay can't go, I guess you all will get your wish to finally see how well he can kick them.

how can our kicker come up with an injury? he's literally on the field for 4-6 plays and NEVER gets touched

hell be alright. John Kasay has earned the decision to leave on his terms though. Kinda like Bowden, however, I dont think kasay will kick if he doesnt think he can anymore.

oooo cheap shot at FSU

i disagree. no player has the right to leave when they want if their play is hurting the team. it doesn't matter, if they suck, they go..... unless they are named jake delhomme.
