I just think this guy has ideal physical tools and is already NFL ready as a run stuffer which we desperately need. He has the tools to develop into a quality pass rusher, he just needs refinement there. With his physical tools, if he was an NFL ready pass rusher who needed work as a run stuffer he would've been a slam dunk as a 1st round pick. This worked in our favor since we need more immediate help on the run stuffing front anyway and can afford to have him develop his pass rushing skills.

Gross-Matos gives me some Greg Hardy vibes but without the domestic violence issues. He comes out a little raw technique-wise but has the physical tools and all the potential to be great. I remember Greg Hardy being the same and it took him a while to peak. Then again Hurney did pick Everette Brown too. We'll see.

Rookies have to test negative to two COVID-19 tests a few days apart and then they can report. I think I saw Saturday at the earliest if players pass both tests.  I imagine veterans have to go though the same two test, so probably reporting early next week I'm guessing.  Camp will be more like OTAS this year, especially early on.
