Deaths are finally under control and its currently less lethal than a coconut.

I have 2 sisters who have auto immune diseases. They are very active and make positive contributions  in their communities.  In the  case of one of them... ...the disease is a very severe one and her lungs are already compromised.  If she gets this .....the likely outcome would  be devastating.  I have been terrified since the start of this.....hoping I will not get the phone call.   Not  sure how "deaths are finally under control" would comfort me or the thousands of other families who are recently experiencing a loss.

At this point, cancel the Fall and push the season to the Spring in the hopes of a "real" season. Have some QB challenges/skill challenges during the Fall to give us something and still have something to throw at TV networks.

Going to have to get somewhat creative to save the cap from crashing if a lot of players take advantage of this and opt out.  Let's get weird...no draft, let rookies sing as FAs after an April/May Super Bowl.  Summer free agency.  Back to a normal start time next year with one to no preseason games to give extra rest time.

Can't completely agree with you, but at least you're throwing some ideas out there!

Wrong for the NFL to put the decision on the players instead of making a leaguewide decision. Employees shouldn’t be forced to choose between their health and their employers wellbeing. If a key player doesn’t feel safe now they have to be the bad guy and abandoned their team for the year.

Man....what kind of coconuts do you eat?

Actually coconuts kill a bunch of people a year believe it or not. Not from eating though. You actually have a better chance of a coconut killing you than the coronavirus or a shark.

Yeah, that is flat out untrue. I have heard that myth. Diving a little deeper than the sound bite will show how hilariously inaccurate that is.

mfw the season gets cancelled and the Panthers could've given Cam the whole year to recover.

Brady didn’t want Newton and that’s the bottom line if you read between the lines of all the interviews. It’s said without being said. I hate that poo

if they cancel the season, it will be interesting to see how they handle the draft and salary cap rollovers

I have an auto immune disorder.

I have been working 6 days a week for 2 months as a ups driver during all this.  If I opt out I no longer have a job.

What a wonderful world.

Yep. Agree completely. It was obvious that they wanted to start over with "their guy". Dont think it was the right move, but it was theirs to make. Wish theyd come out and say that though instead of talking like abunch of politicians.
