I remember years ago on the Vikings forum the Daunte Culpepper threads got so heated that they literally created a sub forum for all Daunte Culpepper talk and banned it on the main board.

but don't come in here with poo like that.  Cam is the best QB the Panthers have ever had and one of the best players.  He gave us the single best season by any Panther ever, IMO.  He put the team on his fuging back and got us multiple division wins and a Superbowl trip.  He is a fuging beast of a QB and if the team valued a line around him he would still be tearing the league up as a Panther.  For whatever reason, offensive line was never a true priority here and it fuged him, and ultimately, all of us, out of years more of seeing one of the better football players of this decade playing in a Panthers uniform.

The best qb of this franchise's history has 3 winning seasons in his career.  Thats not cherry picking anything.  Thats the facts.

I hate to say it, but Cam is a walking target for defensive players. If you don’t think DEs are gonna aim for that shoulder, you’re mistaken. Even if the hit doesn’t do damage, it will mentally affect him. 

Pats O-Line coach (the greatest all time) retired didn’t he? Don’t count on the same protection Brady got either.

I have no hard feelings on Cam. Wish we kept him. But now he’s on another team and is an enemy. I do hope he does well. My expectations for a full season are low right now though.

What about Ted's knee then? By that logic we still have a suspect QB with less talent on a larger and longer contract. No Bueno

It's not really an argument about Teddy vs Cam, I'm just talking about Cam. But to your point-- all QBs have to throw the ball and Teddy doesn't have to run to play QB. The nature of their recoveries are also different.
