Im sorry I dont like anyone  trashing MY team QB, I dont care who it is. I liked Cam as a Panther and wish him well but it is getting past old people wishing him well just to diss MY team and hope he shows us. The truth is if Cam could have played well the past few seasons he would still be here with a raise but things didnt workout that way. If the Panthers could have got Newton for what NE is paying him im sure he would still be here but that wouldn't have happened here. Like a player and wish him well but people acting like this was our 1st or last superstar player.                          

And to all the new NE fans just remember your new team just got caught CHEATING yet again and was fined and draft picks taken AGAIN so i will never like or pull for NE.                                                                

The real question I have for Panther fans is why cant Cam and the Panthers both do well?  Why does is have to be one or the other?

Here comes the “fake concern” posts in regards to Bridgewater. Most only want Teddy as a bridge for Trevor Lawrence. I hope this elevates Teddy’s game, as I want him to stay. I have doubts on both though.

It disappoints me how many Panthers fans want Teddy to suck so that we have a mere shot at Lawrence. fug that.  You are right though.  It was all over these forums in months prior.  The good thing is the coaches think Teddy is much more than a one year bridge to Lawrence/some qb in the draft. Otherwise we would have stuck with Kyle Allen.

As to Cams videos, I've never loved them, but they aren't for me speficially and I couldn't care less if he throws some shade on his way out... Cam is Cam.  He uses this stuff to fire himself up imo and if it works more power to him.  I doubt Teddy is going to give a poo what Cam says, and he's a big boy anyway.  Both of them know what matters is their play on the field in the coming years.  I hope both excel and neither looks like a bad choice for a starting QB for years to come.

Loved me some Beason but Cam's giving me flashbacks to those workout videos. Hopefully Cam's body holds up longer than Jon's did.

I like and respect Cam but I do think the shot at Teddy was a little uncalled for. Talk poo to the organization and those with decision making ability, sure, I'm okay with that but Teddy didn't make the decision. Plus I'll also add in that Teddy has had to fight back from his own injury, that has quite often been a career ending one in the past, but also could have been a life threatening one if not handled appropriately. I think the man definitely has earned some respect for just being able to recover from that type of injury and get back on the field.

This being said, Cam was in workout mode. I've seen a lot of people that say stuff to hype themselves up in workout mode that they wouldn't normally mean or say. Something to give you that push and drive to keep going.

The only good thing to come of this is at least @thebigcat doesn't have to choose which jersey he needs to wear in his Bentley anymore.

On another note, it doesn't do any good to keep crying over old girlfriends.

Cam's gone and he's either going to make it big elsewhere or disappoint due to injuries. Neither of which really moves our lives along a bit. Let's just move all these threads into one, then move that thread into the "Other NFL News" part of the forum, or the Tinderbox if we must.

There has literally been zero discussion or even entertaining conversation regarding our current QB, coach and even players. And as a Panther fan, or for any Panther fan coming here for these things, should be discouraging. 

Just goes back to proving the point that half the people here were never fans to begin with. And for these people, it’s really not an issue (obviously).
 

 

I think it is more that there is literally no Panthers news other than our former franchise star. Seriously, what new Panthers news is not being discussed? There isn't really any. The Coronaverse has killed training camps, so what is there to even really report on?

Yep. Workout videos are pointless. Show me lots of reps of throwing the ball with velocity over several weeks. Totally different animal.

Honestly hoping he backs it up on the field because he hasn’t shown much since his MVP year. Even with the improved completion percentage.

I agree with him but I also don't understand him taking a shot like that at Teddy though he may not have intended it that way. Teddy just signed a free agent contract with one of the only 32 potential employers in his industry, same as Cam did.
