He doesn't have to run to throw the ball but he wasn't throwing any balls with one leg and it took him 3 years to throw 25 times. He had a great Oline for 5 games last year. I'm not even sure if our best guy is better than the Saint's worst Olineman. 

Cam vs Ted isn't going away until there is football and then it is prove it time. Then it will become Ted vs any rookie who looks half good, which is enough to challenge Ted.

The sneak diss to Teddy was uncalled for. Dude tweeted out in support of Cam like a day or two prior when fans were trying to instigate. 

I'm sure he's not crying over it though. It's just normal competitive banter.

I pull for the Panthers not Cam Newton .  If you pull for Cam just move on to the Patriots and get the hell off this forum . Cam is butthurt and is letting his ego get in the way .  I don't  hate ,Cam I just want to move on .  This is a new team with a new owner and coaches . We have a lot of new young players just trying to make a name .  Teddy did nothing to Cam and there is no reason to call him out .  I hope the best for Cam but he is acting like an baby . Just move on and prove what you can do on the field . He is on one on the most successful teams in the league . He has the best chance for a ring . If he had stayed he would be on a rebuild team and have no chance for the playoffs so he should be thankfull .

Cam has been doing his whole song and dance every year.  Last season, it was videos of him running on the beach with his shirt off talking about how he was going to light the world on fire.  I'm pulling for the guy, but to think him talking with his shirt off proves he's going to turn into the 2015 MVP version is insanity.  These people are either trolls or believe everything they see.

I said it pretty early on here that if there was any chance that cam could return to being cam and the Panthers released/traded him it would be the biggest mistake in franchise history. Still waiting to find out

I can appreciate he had a terrible knee injury and it is a risk for him for the rest of his career. He had a backup role since the injury so no, he didn’t throw in a live game until recently but he has done the work in practice over the last few years and I haven’t heard anything about his knee hindering him. My point is just a guy with a bum knee could be a statue and play QB, but if he can’t throw past 10 yards you won’t be a QB anymore. I think they’re different injuries because Cam’s seems to degrade his ability the more he plays regardless of a hit. I wanted us to stick with him one more year to see how it pans out for him. I have little doubt he’ll be able to throw pretty well the first part of the season and we won’t know until he lasts a full year.

Yes, Saints O-Line is better. But, I think ours has improved this offseason and think we’ll be average which is fine most of the time. With the different coaches, I think the offense will operate differently and should be more successful.

I know it’s Cam v Teddy for the fans and Teddy v a potential rookie. It’s not totally productive but it is what it is. I hope Cam is successful but I won’t be cheering for him specifically anymore. I want Teddy to succeed and be the franchise QB. If he fails I’ll be rooting for the rookie.

I’m not only said that to piss people off even more . Y’all so mad cam found a new home y’all can’t stand the fact that people actually see his talent it’s funny and i wonder why y’all so press for him not to be successful can i get a logical  answer how a qb who made a small market team globally relevant . Took us to the bowl . Put the team on his back literally year in and year out . Yet y’all still dislike him for what again ?

Not mad. I'm surprised it took so long and just how small the market was for him. I honestly expected to get something good in a trade not see him sign a paltry contract like that. I always liked Cam, I just didn't see him as Jesus of the football field.
