Biking

Getting into road biking.  (Although I'm using my mountain bike right now).  This is something that I never thought I would like, but now I feel like I've been missing out.  Do people here bike much?  Are their any good (not serious) bike groups in Charlotte?  It would be nice to ride with other people.

I stopped riding around 40, not long after I moved to NC from SoCal. I found the country roads where I lived were far more dangerous as a rider than the roads I normally traveled and trained on in CA. That being said- good on ya! I rode 6 days a week, averaged about 250 miles per week and loved every minute of it. I did some road racing and charity rides, but mostly focused on triathlons, even qualified for the Ironman in 1985 and 1987.

Always good to ride with a group, even if it's only once a week on a Saturday morning or something. A group ride will immediately let you know how you're developing. Road riding in a group requires trust and twitch reflexes when you put your front wheel on someone's back wheel, or it's your turn to pull. Check some of the local bike shops- they always know the who's and when's of the groups around town.

It'll get you in shape real quick, too. Good luck and have fun!

    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.

It works difficult to keep germs from entering the body and protects against environmental threats including sun's ultraviolet rays. Tea Tree oil is of the few essential oils a person simply don't need to dilute before you apply to your skin. It is often a concentrated natural oil safe for most skin types but along with sensitive skin may in order to dilute out.   Read More......>>>> https://sites.google.com/view/neotonics-official-web/home https://supplementamazon.com/buy-neotonics/ https://groups.google.com/g/neotonics-get-special-offer-/c/qitCTT9UoFc https://supplementamazon.blogspot.com/2024/11/neotonics-official-website-does-it.html https://soundcloud.com/neotonics0/neotonics-must-read-before-you-try-safe-or-at-risk https://neotonics-5.jimdosite.com/ https://gamma.app/docs/Neotonics-fcpshrechkygxai https://neotonics-buy.hashnode.dev/neotonics-details-reviews-more-info-to-buy
    • Ah, the ol Cam Newton hating.  I will give you credit, the week of pretending to be a Daniel Jones super fan is a very clever way to disguise your hatred of Cam.
