In the US the death rate among positive tests is 4.55%. Not sure where you are getting your numbers.  Big difference between that and .02%.

I understand that the death rate goes down as we discover how many  how many are likely positive but not tested but what is this .02% number?

"According to data from the best-studied countries and regions, the lethality of Covid19 is on average about 0.3%, which is about ten times lower than originally assumed by the WHO. As of 5/20/2020 the CDC is now estimating ~0.26% in the U.S."

Anytime anyone cites a death rate of ~0.02%, they are dividing the deaths by the total US population, not the total number of cases...so there is no reason to take them seriously.

Be ready for certain players to opt out of the season due to having family members who are at risk. The next thing would be players, coaches, refs, and other employees catching the virus and spreading it through the team like wildfire. I can't believe the NFL is trying to pull this off. They have to cancel the season.

Yea I mean just because they sign a waiver doesn’t mean someone else can’t sue the NFL for a person besides the player’s wrongful death from said player just because the player themselves are restricted from doing so.

You can bet your ass I’d be a looking at legal action for negligence. I understand some people must work and companies must do the best they can and poo happens (including my work).

But you’re talking about the NFL here, let’s face it, this is purely about profits.
