Russell Wilson has had an OL and weapons just as bad if not worse his whole career. He knows when and how to not take hits and put himself at risk. And as the Seahawks have improved the offense around them, they’ve had less and less playoff success than when they were invested in building a top defense. Cam was part FB playing QB and the coaching staff allowed it because if they didn’t Cam wouldn’t be anywhere near the player he was and wouldn’t be himself. It was always a matter of time with Cam whether he was here or another team. He needs to take some of the blame for his playing style.

I agree with most of what you said but disagree with him taking blame .I guess I don’t see any blame to take. That goes both ways for him and the organization.

Only pointing that out as a fundamental difference that I disagree with many posters here . Not really directed at your post.

Could the staff used him better ? Certainly

His aggressive style, which include the injuries is what makes Cam, Cam .

We can “what if” to death ...of what could have been ...but I’m not sure why we do that . Cam has not only my respect but the respect of the league. Anyone that watched him or played against him knows what an animal he was/is.

His records speak for their self . His effort and ability is legendary . Who cares if he hasn’t won a Super Bowl . Maybe I’m in the minority but that doesn’t mean the world to me . How a man plays means more.

You must be new. She’s been raked over the coals ever since she made a deal out of Cam thought it was weird to hear a woman “talk about routes.”

I just assumed those with a greater affinity for Cam would still hold a grudge because that’s what people do.

Not new, thats why I added why any reasonable person would care about how they feel about someone, when they espoused some truth

Some of you guys put players before 'the team'

Some of you guys get so butt hurt when players move on you sound like children.

Some of you would love nothing more than to see the team fall on its face.

You guys are fugging annoying.

and some of you don't want to see blatant mismanagement, that will completely make us look stupid.

Please tell me the last time bill brought upon a player that didn't help him succeed.

Now think, he has brought upon a fuging mvp qb, whose skill could easily be formed in a winning formula.

This management could cut off both of our legs, and you'll still say, "trust the process, i cant believe you guys aren't fans durr."

or, stick with me here, people can agree with something regardless of what they consider that person to be.

In her defense, she probably couldn't have clearance and speak truth at the same time

says a lot about this organization that reporters "didn't have clearance" to defend the mvp quarterback from baseless attacks. covering a pro team in charlotte is just outsourced PR which, fine, whatever. but if she's going to (correctly) say "people love to say _____ about cam newton" then imo she should definitely ask herself how she and her media pals contributed to that environment.

I dont disagree.

I just assume there are intricacies.

At this point, intricacies are excuses.
