Jourdan Rodrigue EXPOSES the Panthers

Agree with everything except the preseason game a year ago. He should have thrown the ball away. And he needed to play considering he sat out the end of the prior year and was coming back from surgery. 3rd game made sense because that’s when all starters play.

Playing then vs week 1 is little different in the healing department so try to shake the rust off.

I'm glad she said it, but let's be honest, it's not exposing anything. At least half of this board has been saying this for years. It's just confirming what everyone with at least half of a functioning brain already knew.

I’m confident that generally nobody is paying attention to the Panthers like the people on this forum and even as you mentioned... half of them didn’t/don’t see it.

The narrative that’s been painted around Cam has been a consistently lazy one that has been accepted in the media and those digesting it despite multiple examples through out the years of the respect he has throughout the league from Coaches, players, teammates, and even retired greats.

I guarentee, if nothing else, a lot of Pats fans were just exposed to some specific information that only some of our fanbase even recognizes.

She knows.  And this is what I was saying about Cam---he took a beating.  RR stood there with his arms folded, and Marty and DG did NOTHING about the OL because Cam could run and take the hits.   Cam's career was ruined by underachieving jokes who got awards and contracts based on what Cam did  despite them.

If you have ever been in a locker room (and I was in college, not pros) you see the pounding and the ice baths and the tape and pain killing shots.  There is NO WAY Cam could take the beating for a decade--and I kept telling you all that, but I was getting called out as a hater.  Nope--a realist.  Cam is a good guy--a very bizarre guy--but if you ever watched a practice, he was a crazy nut.  He brought energy to OTAs.  No crowds.  No cameras.  Just Cam being Cam.  But Cam was a human, and with no help, he was destined to have a short career.  He never learned to be a pocket passer because he never had a pocket.

I wish Cam the best, but I think he is done.  It adds up, and the devil comes to collect at the end.

Russell Wilson has had an OL and weapons just as bad if not worse his whole career. He knows when and how to not take hits and put himself at risk. And as the Seahawks have improved the offense around them, they’ve had less and less playoff success than when they were invested in building a top defense. Cam was part FB playing QB and the coaching staff allowed it because if they didn’t Cam wouldn’t be anywhere near the player he was and wouldn’t be himself. It was always a matter of time with Cam whether he was here or another team. He needs to take some of the blame for his playing style.

I hate to defend Benjamin but it’s such BS that he’s blamed for Cam getting hurt chasing down the INT. That was all on the official. It was so damn clear that the DB touched Benjamin and was down and Benjamin obviously knew he touched him while down. With all the player safety tons of early whistles and yet a dangerous (crack back blocks like TD’s suspension) play like an INT return was continued and easily overturned.

People like to pile on the fat dude but that was 100% on the official and Benjamin stopped because he clearly touched the DB when he was down. There was no question and the review took 2 seconds.

She should have put the team on blast when she was still covering the Panthers. Maybe it would have prompted someone to take some accountability and make some changes. Instead we are all living out the worst possible timeline :(
