burial was the best beer in nc the week it opened.   a real hole in the wall place here real near where jackothewood (greenman) brewed and has a small bar on the south slope.  they went into a sour and belgian phase for a while and that's not my jams but hands down they were the best beer in town the day they opened.

Eh, prior to Wicked Greed selling to The Evil Empire, they were better, IMO. Lots of contenders for that top spot now, though. Especially in CLT. That place is the best beer area in NC by a wide margin.

Wicked used to be one of my wife's brands she represented for her distributor.  She had most of the cool stuff back then, and the other big distributor in town had way fewer brands...but they had the AB stuff so their volume was super high on their limited inventory.  I didn't realize WW sold out, and it makes me wonder if her old company got to keep the account or whether it got reallocated to the other distributor who handled the AB stuff.

If they had AB accounts then nothing would change.
