About time. Perhaps the Patriots were waiting for Cam's value to hit its absolute lowest, when everyone's qb situation was settled but before training camps start and injuries begin to pop up. It positioned them to get Cam to agree to sign for what is likely close to minimum before incentives, with the enticement of joining the best possible spot in the league, with a wide open starting job, the best coach possibly of all time, and the makings of a potential super bowl team. Will be exciting to watch. I'll always pull for the Panthers first and foremost but I do hope Cam does well and will make a point to check out any televised games where he's starting.
