If Cam passed his physical with flying colors he would have gotten more than a 1 year vet min. There is likely a good amount of concern over his throwing shoulder.

I really really really wanted to root for Cam wherever he went after here, but I cannot pull for the Patriots or anything Patriot related. Right now I'm hoping the situation results in him leaving NE in a year after a meaningless sort of a season and taking his talents elsewhere.

Football hasn’t gotten this instantaneously fun since 2015. Season or not, I can’t wait to see Cam play again.

Beats having to watch Tom, Drew, and Matty Ice wearing our asses out 6 times this year. That’s for sure. 

Matty Ice is hands down the worst nickname in all of sports and it's not close. The fact that Matt Ryan didn't immediately punch the first guy in the mouth that called him that and then look everybody else in the eye and inform them that the next person who used that nickname was going to the hospital tells you what a goober he is.

Also I love me some Cam, but I am morally opposed to rooting for the Patriots. Here's hoping Cam is outta there and on to better places next year. I would've loved to see him in Buffalo with all the other Panther alums but c'est la vie.

He passed a physical while still in Carolina. Problem is teams were not able to a physical on him after his release due to the pandemic. You keep making it sound like he's been able to take more physicals and keeps failing them. Stop pushing a false narrative.

Teams have been giving players physical for months.

You do realize that QBs with more recent injuries have signed with teams right

Exactly.thus is a good move for both NE and Cam.

 

At vet minimum, there is zero risk for NE.  
 

For Cam, He could not join a weaker QB group.  He should have an opportunity to start over Stidham/Hoyer...and if he can’t win that job, his career is over.

I like Cam so much as a person and player it transcends my hatred for Patriots.  Most of that stemmed from Brady but BB is a cheater. Don’t care anymore, hope Cam balls the fug out.
