Alright guys time to round up! You’ve all been the  last of cam fanboys stragglers hanging around for some time and it’s been fun but Cam has finally found a new team now. I’ll include a link to the new fan section over at the patriots board where you all can introduce yourselves as die hard Pats fans now.

So get in your last friendly jabs, you know, the ‘Panthers are a poo organization, fug Bridgewater and his supporting racists, and you hope they all lose and the Pats win it all with Cam to show all the haters wrong’, yada yada yada.

It's a one year contract. "Success" for the Panthers this year means putting ourselves in position to land another franchise QB in next year's draft.

I will reiterate the point, NO PATRIOT DESERVES TO WIN. 

It doesn't make me happy to root against Cam. He is easily one of my favorite Panthers of all time. I will not wish him well while he is on that team. I really, really hope he jumps ship in 2021 to a team I can gladly cheer for him(literally anyone but the Pats and Saints). It would suck to see him in the division too but I could begrudgingly get over the Bucs or Falcons because they don't actually have any real fans that we have to deal with.

Yeah I know that 

But what i’m talking about is, say if there were to be a Patriots vs Panthers super bowl matchup (Yes, I know it’s obviously very unlikely), some folks here acting like they would absolutely love if Cam won just to “show” the Panthers they “messed up”.  They keep knocking everything the Panthers are currently doing and trying to build, no support at all.

Honestly if we still had Rivera and crew going into next year without Greg, Luke, and Cam might fandom might be in jeopardy too ngl. My first real sports heartbreak was thanks to the Patriots beating us so I don't think I could root for them if I tried.

Exactly. 

Cam gave fans some of the best memories in our franchise's history and sacrificed his body to do so.   Those injuries ultimately played a part in his departure. 

The Patriots deal is Cam's golden opportunity to resurrect his career and potentially win a Super Bowl.  I couldn't be happier for him. 

After everything Cam has done for Carolina, I can only wish him the best.  That is, unless he is playing against the Panthers.

People can't be happy for Cam these days?  Sheesh, no issue hoping he balls out in a year we don't play them. 

He plays well, helps his legacy and he's still a starter. He doesn't, he at least had his shot and the Panthers can claim they were "right". 

Nothing wrong with hoping Cam does well for himself, while we're in a rebuild hoping to come away with Lance/Fields/Lawrence.  If people are pulling for Cam over the Panthers in a potential SB a few years down the line then there's an issue, but right now, being happy for the dude? Yeah notta thing wrong with that.

The people that are angry at fans being happy for Cam were praying that he would NEVER get another job again. Now, they're in here whining and trying to discredit his move to the Patriots. They feel stupid, as they should for wishing for his downfall.
