Depends on the activity. With a million dollars I should be able to survive, pay off the medical bills and self-quarantine for 2 weeks and still end up with a tidy sum in the bank.

"Most likely" is vague but let's pretend it's 100%. I am at the age where the mortality rate is maybe 1%. Yeah i know mortality rate is wonky. But for a 1% rate you can keep the $miilion. I got two boys who are lovely and a wife who somehow tolerates me. 

But (humblebrag) I am pretty well off and mostly retired. I can see where some people could desperately use the $1M.
