Panthers vs Saints: Who Will Win & Why?

LOL, you are cracking me up with your logic. Me, I don't let my wife watch the games, she's a jinx. Last week I told her not to even think about the game!

My b/f does the same to me but its because I know more about the game than he does and he hates that! ;)

awesome! That's too cool. You need to school that boy!

Thanks but I owe it all to my dad and three brothers. Growing up in a house with a 4/2 ratio, I had no choice but to learn and love the game. Mom cooked on Sundays, I watched with the guys.

Actually I will be at the game. I do feel sorry about that beat down we'll be issuing too. I know Jake is still hurting from last week and I never liked to see a man get kicked when he is down but all is fair in love and war right??

why the panthers would win....

the running game just too good for the saints D to handle. it would require too many people stacking the box and leave smith too open as well as barnidge and jarrett. they are unproven but the potential is there. only need a couple breaks in the passing game. the panthers will have run 35+ times and jake will have thrown well under 30 times. if they keep the ball on the ground and safe, the panthers can pull it off.

on defense they will have built on what they have done the past few weeks. thomas keeps working the middle like he has been and tank starts to be effective having been in the system a couple weeks. peppers continues to dominate and we see more from the other DEs, esp. brown and johnson. beason controls the middle of the field and we keep 5-7 DBs on the field most downs. the saints running game may eat up little bits of yards but the key will be cutting down on brees passing options giving the line more time to cause him problems. martin will have built on his success from last week and does a good job of capitalizing on bree's increased tendency to turn the ball over. how we use thomas davis and dante wesley will also be vital. meeks will have continued to do things that the opposing team hasn't seen from the panthers so the element of surprise will help.

far from a gimme or a guarantee that the panthers will win but this game is also far from a guaranteed loss as well. it is incredibly possible that we can pull it off.

absolutely, all is fair. It's fair to say Jake will have his most confidence coming into this game.
