Why on earth would you ever pull for the Panthers to win anything??

Seriously, i just don't get this. If the other teams from the NFC south make the playoffs, i don't want them to win. It does nothing for the Saints.

Well I guess that's where you and I disagree my friend. If our team loses, who else do you pull for? Division pride baby, division pride. I would have a tough time pulling for the Falcons, but if they made it that far, I'd pull for them over some random AFC team...you bet your a ss I would.

I guess since I'm an LSU guy it's the same mindset w/the SEC. I get the argument that you should never pull for anyone else, no matter what; but you know what; neither mindset is wrong or right. Just a diff of opinion....

Hey I told you; neither of us are right or wrong...but you want to say one is wrong.....that's your opinion. I will always pull for NFC in the SB number 1. If there is a south team, I will be pulling for them number 2.

Look up; I pulled for the Bears when they owned us when they played the Colts. Now look, when I say 'pull for', I'm talking having a vague rooting interest. I'm not talking 'pull' like you pull for your home team. The only reason I was pulling hard for the Panthers in that SB was Jake to be honest. Would've been great to see a coonass win a Super Bowl (and no Terry Bradshaw is not a coonass, he's from north of I-10!)
