Panthers safety Tre Boston appreciates new owner David Tepper allowing players to express themselves during these times of racial unrest. It wasn't always that way under former owner Jerry Richardson. “When we're talking I don't feel like I'm talking to the owner,'' Boston said of Tepper. "I feel like I'm talking to my friend. I feel like I am talking to somebody I trust.''

All politics aside. Which this forum does not do well, don’t you feel if a binding contract was in place And they are able to breach that contract due to climate would be a little slippery slope?

I would love to see the contract JR has with Tepper.  My guess is this will constitute a breach and will head towards a suit/settlement.  Optically its a good time, but there is no climate where breaching a contract goes well for many people (except the lawyers.)

I’m an avid history guru and study all periods. I’m disturbed to think this might roll over in state and national battlefields. I hope not. Those are the one places that should not be touched.

this is concerning confederate flags and monuments on those battlefields

I don't think it would come to that. History can't be changed, erased or forgotten.

Do you pay attention to the news?  History can't be changed, but people sure as heck are trying to erase it and forget it.

Well as the ol saying goes, those who forget history are deemed to repeat it. Humans throughout many civilizations have made that mistake time and time again.
