There are some things and people who should no longer be honored.  Truth is, they never should have been.

If they want to take down statues on public or government property that’s fine. But I fear this movement will start going after battlefields since if you give someone an inch they will always take a mile. Battlefields are hollow ground and should never be touched. People can learn a lot about our history by visiting these sites.

Mandatory kneeling week 1, or you're escorted out of the stadium and forfeit your PSLs, if you are a PSL owner.

I respect if people want to kneel for a cause or protest that they believe in, if that’s the fashion they decide to protest in. Knock yourselves out and more power to you.

But I don’t kneel for anyone. And any security that tried to escort me out can fug around and find out.

No one cares about "social and political environment" on a breach of contract when discussing compensatory damages.  A judge won't, the lawyers won't and a jury shouldn't.   This isn't going to the court of public opinion.

Richardson's legacy lives in the court of public opinion. If he values what's left of it, best keep quiet and ride off into the sunset.

Former Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was not consulted or informed that his statue outside BOA Stadium was being removed today. ‘'Mr. Richardson has made no public comments about the Panthers or the NFL since the sale of the team and doesn't plan to do so now as a private citizen,'' a spokesperson said. ‘'He has worked to treat all people fairly in his business and personal lives and, like many other Americans, is troubled by recent events in Minneapolis, Charlotte, and around the country.''
