PFF Ranks All Starting QBs. Where Does Bridgewater Rank?

I am good Waldo - I wasn't feeling attacked or responding in defense.  I legit wanted to express those opinions anyway.

I agree about Pro Bowls and any other accolades in football - they are all weak arguments, just added to legit evidence for fluff.

I for one am not mad in the least about Cam or Teddy - I agreed with the Cam decision (although a little sad) and like the Teddy pick up.  I am looking forward to seeing what we do this year with cautious optimism.

Yeah Baker Mayfield hasn't done anything more impressive than Teddy unless you're using him on Ultimate Team in Madden, which *checks notes* should not factor into the rankings.

No QB is more overrated than him. Nothing against the guy, but damn.

No doubt one of the most over-rated guys in the NFL.  Never have understood everyone loving that guy

32.

And he'd be even lower if we included every Qb in the NFL because there's at least 2 back ups and a FA Qb that are head and shoulders above Ted.

That's just as ridiculous as saying he should be top 11.

He's an average NFL QB and their ranking has him in the "average" range.

Warner was immediately successful when he got a chance to play in the NFL though. He didn't bounce around from team to team starting here and there putting up pedestrian stats along the way.

I'm definitely a big Cam fan, but I understand why Teddy is here. He's a placeholder who knows our offense to bridge the gap to our next franchise QB.

That's a lot of money to spend on a placeholder.

Personally I think they think that there is a chance that Teddy can be more than just a bridge QB.

They might have convinced themselves that TB has the skillset to excel in the system that they want to run.  I keep going back to the idea that coaches have egos, and believe they can get more out of a player than other coaches did.

More times than not though a player is who you think they are.  In the defense though look at how much Burrow changed from one season to another, so maybe it's possible.

New Carolina CopyCAT Aint's. Horrible role model for a once proud franchise. Again, they look at the Saints like a beautiful woman while most real Panthers fans look at her as a drunken mistress. Roman Harper worked out, love the guy, but this sht is ridiculous and borders on gonad coddling. Sickening.

Dalton, Winston, and Newton are all better QBs and have shown more potential than Ted ever has. Is there ranking bad? Nah 24 is okay I'm just saying there are legit arguments for a handful of backups/FA QBs that are also better which would drop him even lower.

The market is taking the other side of your trade.

Guaranteed money in current contract:

Cam Newton = $0.00

Jameis Winston = $148,000

Andy Dalton = $3,000,000

Big Time Teddy = $33,000,000

Rhule's Rules rule!

It's Teddy Time!

Big Time Teddy, if healthy, is probably a top 10 QB in the NFL. Putting a system babby like Dak or the corpse of Philip Rivers ahead of him is absurd. That's confusing talent with past performance. This is the year that Big Time puts it together - starting role, killer health, great system.
