Cam is the only QB left unsigned.

I always supported Cam. He was my choice when he was drafted and I was thrilled. Some of the amazing plays he made in the years here will always be treasured in my memories. I read two things in this thread that stick out to me. Cam played for a defensive minded organization and they failed him. 2015 was a fluke in the sense the right guys got together not by some great insight by the Panther staff but by pure luck. Cam's greatness shown out. We finally seen what he could be. Unfortunately this blue print for success wasn't followed. I didn't hate on Rivera but was ready to move on. The other point was NFL defenses figured the Panther system out. We didn't change and everyone knows the rest of the story. I hope Cam gets another chance and succeeds. I think he will. I will always a fan of him.

It's not that the blueprint "wasn't followed". It was figured out.

The Falcons showed everybody how to stop us. Wade Phillips took note in Denver and did it even better.

Some coaches are smart enough to adjust when someone counters their system. Ours weren't.

And all these other players and QB’s are getting signed during this same pandemic...including those coming off injuries.

To your point Noah Syndegaard managed to get himself a Tommy John elbow surgery last Thursday.

His “MVP” like stats in 2018 were because he became a CMC check down machine. He didn’t suddenly become more accurate.

So when giving a offensive scheme that counter his weaknesses, Cam can produce "MVP" stats even when having a shoulder injury.

And somehow that is a bad thing?

Did you oppose getting rid of Shula?

Free agency was practically over by the time we released him.

It absolutely baffles me that this guy may have accumulated career ending injuries while completely carrying our offense for his entire career with an absolute poo OL in front of him, an absolute poo WR corps to try to throw to, and yet there is a good chunk of "Panthers fans" who gloat in his downfall.

I mean, seriously. What in the FUG?!

He was released in plenty of time. He demanded a starting role and got no takers. It amazes me how many of you make excuses for him even now. I mean even Winston who is younger and had pretty good numbers last year was humble so he found a team. Facts are facts and the NFL believes Newton is used up. Instead of proving them wrong he said pay me like Dak.

Have we ever been. I think Fox was probably worse than Rivera in adjustments.

You're simply coming to the conclusion you want to believe. I haven't seen any reports on what Cam is wanting in a contract, yet you've concluded he wants to be paid like Dak.

I was saying he wanted to be paid as a starting QB. Now after he got that cold water splashed in his face he will take anything. I was just simply pointing out how he wasn't willing to give any team a discount to prove he isn't washed up.

You simply believe what you want to believe.

You'll notice that my original post that you reacted to mentioned nothing about Cam's free agency market. I simply commented on how we used him, the talent we put around him, and the timing of his release. But you seem determined to feel the need to humble Cam. I'll be honest, it's a bit telling.

I don't conclude. It has already been reported that he's willing to take a back up role now he has limited options. It's also amazing to me how I simply just pointed out how he fumbled FA and somehow I wait for his downfall. The fact is huddlers like you hate being wrong and most of you thought the Panthers were idiots for releasing him. Thought he would get another team in days and would be laughing at other members who said it was the right decision.Come to find out it was the right decision and we are laughing at you and you can't deal with that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yet, you had no problem with saying CMC was disliked by certain members of the board due to his race.

Hmmm the double standards

I’m glad you seem to understand my sarcastic posts of irony. But seems you fail to understand that you understand. The irony.

Only in Pantherland is Cam even in the same conversation with Matt Ryan. The main reason Cam is not signed is he is just not that good. He had one really good season and the rest are avg. I get we should hate the Falcons as the enemy. But let's be realistic.

We just gave a guy 20 mill a year to be the starter and hes never thrown for over 3200 yards and 14 Tds.... What a dumbass poster this guy is.

But then again this is the Huddle I am not surprised in the least there are people this retarded on this board

What did I say that was incorrect?

I still think we were idiotic for releasing him and signing Teddy to a $60M+ contract.

That's the difference between me and you. I'll clearly state my thoughts and opinions as such while you state your thoughts and opinions as if they're cold hard facts. A backup role doesn't mean that he'll accept anything.
