Cam is the only QB left unsigned.

I mean, unless they’re just hearing nightmare stories from his former employer, in which case they would still be doing themselves a disservice by not bringing Newton in for a physical and a chat.

There are a number of possibilities right now, including Newton pumping the brakes on this entire process, given the nature of the entire league structure right now.

It’s also possible his foot isn’t quite ready to pass that physical yet. That certainly doesn’t mean it won’t be in a month, or maybe two. And yes, perhaps that shoulder won’t last another three years. But, there’s also a possibility it will hold up just fine.

I seriously doubt the Panthers are black-balling Cam.  If some team was interested enough they would certainly call the Panthers for information, BUT conduct their own physical too.  As shown with the Jets, teams are willing to sign a BACKUP QB that's rehabilitating an injury.  

Since Cam was being stubborn and insisting on a starting role coming off two injury seasons, I can see why teams stayed away.  By the time Cam realized starting wasn't an option, even 99% of the backup spots had been filled.   Again, he played his hand wrong in FA.

That should tell you what you need t know.  I remember hearing stories from players about him in the lockerroom before 2015.

None of that shouldn't even matter even if it is true. Players can be petty just like posters.

For one i know a LB that is now gone that said Cams a bitch and few respect him in the organization.  This was when everything was rolling.  I was very surprised to hear it.  Now thats one guy but he had nothing negative to say about anyone else.  Just little funny stories about the other LBs and d lineman.  Ive never been a cam hater.. ever. im just saying what i heard

Yup 

Joe Flacco who failed a physical as recently as 60 days ago and is so shell shocked to play QB he shouldn’t even start again. But Cam can’t even get a signing
