Seriously? We are comparing CMC to Thomas? Also, Clyde was their lead RB and he had 50+ receptions, more than Moss. That’s not small for a RB. Throw in the talent gap between CMC and Thomas and I don’t expect a huge drop for CMC. I see a pretty low ceiling for Thomas.

TE use in the passing game was extremely minimal when you look at overall stats. RB passing wasn’t much either but there will be way more need to dump off with our OL.

You can't even make your argument right.  You said Moss % of yards and touchdowns were less than 10%. Well the lead rb was less than what Moss had.  You think CMC is so much better than what they had, well what about a 4th round TE with 2 years NFL experience being better than a UDFA.

You don't know what this offense wil look like and neither do I.  Just stop saying that you know.

Lordy. Lead RBs on high powered passing offenses should have less receiving yards than the TE if the TE is used a lot. Clyde actually had more receptions than Moss, but I also said that RBs didn’t get a ton of usage. Maybe when your QBs throw for 6,000 yards and 61TDs, dump offs to RBs don’t happen much. Still doesn’t mean that Moss wasn’t really utilized that much % wise.

All that said, that has zero to do with CMC. There’s a huge difference between saying Brady doesn’t use TEs much so Thomas isn’t likely to do much and Brady doesn’t use RBs much so CMC isn’t likely to do much receiving wise. CMC is in the best RB discussion, Thomas is a maybe he can be a starter discussion.

I don’t know the 2020 stats, no one does but would you put money on CMC or Thomas getting more receiving yards? Seems like you would bet on Thomas since according to you he’s “more” superior to Moss than CMC is superior than Clyde and Moss had more yards. I’ll take CMC and Brady using CMC way more.

You're not understanding anything I am saying.  So I will say this and stop.  Your saying the TE was not used alot at LSU.  The TE were used just as much RB in the passing game at LSU.  8 reception over 14 games is really no difference. If you count all the TE and RB it's like 69 to 60.  So everything you are saying is kind of BS.

Having said that I don't think the offense will look like the LSU offense.  They may be the same concepts used but the personal will be different.  So saying that all the % and usage of the players will be the same is stupid because the strength of this offense here is different from LSU.

This is not a CMC thing.  This is, he did one thing at LSU so he will do the same thing here.  No he won't.  And all the % of whatever he did at LSU doesn't apply to the Panthers next year.

Ian Thomas has great athletic attributes for a guy of his size and has shown flashes of good hands and route running. If he learned enough from Olsen and shows consistency he will put do what most people think. He actually has the speed and acceleration to be dangerous on shallow routes as he outruns most lbers and some corners.

CmC just got paid for a reason he will touch the ball every time he is open and be a centerpiece of this offense no matter what Brady did before.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
