Dumb and Dumber

Baker and Dunbar will only get consequences if the court decide that they should. The second they both are not found guilty, Goodell and some stupid desperate teams will give them another chance. That’s why the NFL is full of criminals. The league keeps taking these guys back. If they will show that the league will not put up with stupidity, players will take it more seriously.

You are using this story to push your own agenda right now my guy.

This is a serious, serious charge. Far more serious than anything that any NFL player has done recently. In Florida nif they're found guilty, it's an automatic 10 year sentence. Let's also not forget Baker allegedly told one of the gunmen to shoot someone.

Please name one, one thing that remotely compares to this situation.

If they're found not guilty, unfortunately, that's the law. They'll probably be suspended but no reason the leauge for the leauge to keep them out.

Gettleman taking some heat for this from NY press.

It turns out there were indeed warning signs about Baker’s maturity that Gettleman and the Giants missed. Draft analyst Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network reported on several prior to the 2019 scouting combine.

“Sources were telling me he was not taking combine training seriously,” Pauline told The Post. “He was kind of an entitled type of kid, he expected things to come very easy to him, he didn’t look good in drills. And then if you go back, and you look at his 2019 combine, he was a huge disappointment.

“This year when I was at the Senior Bowl practices, the last day of practice, I was talking to some of the Giant people, they didn’t tell me he was a bad guy or anything, they said he’s dumb as dirt. He struggled taking instruction in coaching, he basically likes to do it his own way.”

Baker was dressed down by teammates during his rookie season for his laissez-faire preparation.

If even the basic facts as reported are true, this a pretty serious felony (maybe felonies depending on what sticks). A stick-up at a bbq by recognizable professional figures sounds like a lot of witnesses. Every story has both sides, but you’d have to get fairly creative to imagine extenuating factors that would make the prosecution back down from this.

What happened to "we don't know the whole story" and "guilty until proven innocent" or "we don't know what happened that led up to this"?

:thinking::thinking::thinking:

I normally scream that these days, but there are multiple witness. Dunbar maybe in the clear with new evidence, about 4 people said he didnt do anything and it was mainly Baker plus the masked guy.

Example I walk into a business that Ive visited before. Go around talking to people, telling them my name and such. Then I have a disagreement with someone and cause a big scene. Now I have most of the rooms attention, pull out a gun and start robbing people.... Theres basically no defending that, you can try.

Who among us believes in the concept of innocent until proven guilty?

I’m sure Dunbar paid them a big load of money to keep their mouths shut

Even if Kareem Hunt was convicted it'd be a misdemeanor, not a felony.

So,

Robby Anderson had felony charges from running from the cops. He’s still in the league. Just saying. And he’s I understand it ain’t as serious as armed robbery with a firearm. It’s still a felony.

Felons can improve as people and deserve a chance to work.

Who knew.
