Just remember that for every two knuckleheaded guys like this there are 20 that are going out of their way performing charity and acts of kindness in their community.  It’s a shame they don’t get the headlines.

no its a good thing they are not getting the headlines, otherwise they would be doing it for the wrong reasons.

We all saw Kareem Hunt come back to the league pretty quick. It’s the National Felon League

Into the tinder box we go but

Watching the Kareem Hunt video what he did was not even a tenth to as close as literally robbing people and holding them at gun point with a semi automatic. And Kareem Hunt STILL got suspended.

Kareem Hunt is not a felon.

These two are about to be felons.

You're comparing apples to oranges here.

Yep, definitely a difference between a convicted felon and not a convicted felon!

A friend who played college football gave me this book years ago as a birthday present. It's over 20 years old but is sadly still relevant and was eyeopening.

Another friend who is a paramedic has a saying that seems relevant:

There is no IQ test to be a criminal.

One of the best books I've read in the past few years is Gregg Easterbrook's "It's better than it looks, reasons for optimisim in an age of fear."

https://www.google.com/search?q=it's+better+than+it+looks&rlz=1C1MSIM_enUS807US807&sxsrf=ALeKk00wdrCTgFOvJQ9Cv9uV1Qy-BwtRtA:1589543460065&source=univ&tbm=shop&tbo=u&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjo1arq5rXpAhVvhuAKHYGWCvcQsxh6BAgdECw&biw=1920&bih=937

Easterbrook writes the Tuesday Morning Quarterback column that has floated around various sites online for years including NFL.com and ESPN.com but his day job is covering science and foreign policy at the Brookings Institute. One of the most interesting points he makes in the book is about how no newspaper or news show ever leads with a headline saying: Things slowly getting better most places all of the time.

Yet this is typically what is happening all over the world.

Regardless of whether it is good or bad, if it isn't exciting, it tends not to make news.

This ain't it chief.

From the video his story sounded more accurate than hers but his actions were still wrong, regardless of what happened.

Baker might be toast if he's the ring leader but Dunbar might get another chance since he's proven.

Kareem barely tapped some drunk chick with his foot and was never charged with anything. These guys committed armed robbery with a firearm. Not even close to comparable. These guys are more likely to spend 5-10 in the pen than to play 5-10 more snaps in the NFL.

They were following CDC guidelines by wearing approved virus masks.

Correct.  I also believe the guns were used to enforce proper social distancing, which included properly distancing the people at the party from their money and jewelry, both of which could have been contaminated with the virus.  These guys literally saved lives that day.
