Thats the biggest concern for me is he hasnt tested his knee in quite some time and we all know about our line.

That is completely fair and understandable. The first few sacks/hits are going to have me nervous as well...

I mean he played almost six full games last year not including pre season and has been injury free since the Minny incident. I'm ready to believe he will be fine.

I'll entertain the Kyle Allen comment just for the LULs because obviously anyone with a normal functioning brain knew I was talking about Cam Newton.

Kyle Allen put up better numbers last year in a lame duck season in which he was thrown into the fire than Sh*t the bed Ted has put up in ANY season hes played. So yes no matter how you look at it we downgraded by a pretty big margin

Hahahahahahahahah

This season will also be three years since the injury.  He's also been mostly on the sideline since then not taking many shots on that leg.   If the knee is not good by now, it never will be.  Not too big of a concern for me.

He was behind the Saints offensive line. That knee injury could have easily been career ending. He has had enough time without getting injured that he SHOULD be ok, but that doesn’t mean I’m not worried...

With the contract we have in place, we really aren’t in a bad position either way. If he works out, he will be underpaid. If it does not, we can easily move on after one season if needed.

I seem to recall this whole forum pissing and moaning nonstop about how much we threw the deep ball under Shula.  Now they're all concerned about a QB that they perceive as being unable to throw the deep ball.

You have figured out the secret of the Huddle ....most just like to find something to complain about.

Excuses excuses excuses. Cam was hindered by the same things when it came to scheme and the offensive players around him.

Cam had a better supporting cast than Teddy ever had in Minn.

That's saying a lot.
