For example, imagine the team who picked 8 or 9th draft a TE. Now they might have to pay aN unproven Rookie TE $20 million guaranteed for 4 years.  That’s a lot of risk to put on your salary cap.

Yes it was the lockout year.  

 

Bradford signed a 78 million dollar deal, 50 guaranteed.
