Yeah, should’ve specified that I hope the plans aren’t official until 5-10 years from now. I don’t want to be playing in a new stadium in the next 10 years. BofA definitely has that much left in it, at least.

Do you guys have a feeling Tepper is only doing this, to resale the team in 10 years? It seems like he is spending money on the practice dome, new HQ, new Stadium, wants to win a Super Bowl, only to flip his investment.

The vast majority of owners want 1 thing...to raise the value of their franchises.

Some do it by winning, others just get dragged along against their will, but they still go up in value.

They don't look at these teams the way that fans do.

We don’t need a new stadium. Tepper needs to quit that crap and concentrate more on what he’s putting on the field. BOA stadium is perfectly fine. We don’t need a retractable roof. Weather is great in Charlotte. And we have the greatest location and view than any other stadiums in the league. Building a billion dollar stadium isn’t going to make me go to the games more often. If the team is winning, I would still pay to go watch them in a high school field.

If the NFL goes a year with no fans in seats there will be no new stadiums, imo. I can build a hell of a man cave for what it costs for a years worth of tickets and parking.

A roof would be in an attempt to get the Super Bowl. Having a roof guarantees you can combat any cold February temps. Enough hotels? That's your problem there.

It's to get 365 day use out of the stadium. Basketball tourney's, concert, etc. year round.
