Jourdan Rodrigue leaving to cover the Rams

Good riddance to one of the worst reporters this city has ever seen. The drama she stirred up after the cam comment should have had her banned from the building. Like a majority of the writers on the panthers beat, she was allergic to holding anyone accountable. It is time for the observer and wfnz to hire someone with experience covering teams in the northeast so we get accountability out of this franchise. It would be the first time in 25 years.

How did she stir up drama

She went out of her way to say it wasn’t a big deal and that she moved on, and then did an exclusive interview with I believe Ian rappaport later in the night and created all this drama. She was the worst. And then after speaking to rappaort she wouldn’t speak about it or clarify anything. Then had her buddies in the media write hit pieces on cam while she said nothing.

This is revisionist history to say the least.  Here is what she said:

“This afternoon, I did my job as an NFL beat writer and asked Cam Newton a question about one of his receivers. I was dismayed by his response, which not only belittled me but countless other women before me and beside me who work in similar jobs.

“I sought Mr. Newton out as he left the locker room a few minutes later. He did not apologize for his comments.”

Lol don’t tell me about revisionist history. This is what she said to rappaport or whoever she spoke to. Go find her comments immediately after.

That is what she said after it.   You made the claim she stirred stuff up you show me the quotes you are referring to

No it’s not. She gave that statement to Ian at 7:34 PM. Immediately after she said it was not a big deal or something along those lines.
