Florio: league source predicted that the Saints and Panthers will be sanctioned for draft violation

Then the Bucs better get penalized too, with Gronk bragging about having his playbook for a month and Brady going to his O Coordinator's house

They are not investigating Gronk's claims and it has been said Brady didn't violate any rules, not that it is any kind of surprise.

Those guys are above the law.

How embarrassing (and rightfully so) for Sean Payton, he should never had opened his damn mouth.

He did it on purpose so we would lose a pick

Nice. So now we get out 1st rounder next year taken away. No Trevor. Payton did this on purpose.

No way we lose our 1st rounder over something as trivial as this. The patriots and saints have done far worse with lesser punishments.

Panthers lose their 2021 and 2022 1st round picks, Saints get a $7,500 fine.

Not with Tepper in charge. That was folding Jerry's MO. We have more money and pull than the cowboys and Redskins combined. It's the saints who will take the punishment.

Panthers have admitted to nothing and the kids Agent won't admit to anything because he will be black balled on every other rookie deal he is apart of. It's the saints who are in most trouble because they admitted to negotiating.

I don't know if we are guilty, but its like saying everybody speeds.  Its true, but if you get a ticket, you still have to pay the fine.

Technically the only one that got caught is Payton. He admitted he tappered and because he couldn't tamper anymore he used a draft pick to win because he couldn't cheat.

There's every possibility that the Panthers spoke with Stevens' agent before the draft including money. There's nothing wrong with that. Or it could be that the agent was throwing out figures to the Saints to get as much for his client as he could without having talked money with the Panthers. That's his job. Payton's the a-hole for publicly bragging and the Saints got caught.

sean payton is hilariously egotistical to the extent that he believes he created what they do with taysom hill. that's funny enough on its own. like it was such an absurd thought before him that a team would run packages with two different quarterbacks. hell, we even tried some things like that with armanti edwards.

Yeah it’s basically the wildcat with a running QB instead of RB. Hill probably only throws it as much as RBs did/do in the wildcat.
