The pessimist in me says:  As a fan do you really want to hear your team is signing several semi-pro players?  Nope.

The optimist in me says: Meh, Jake Delhomme came from NFL Europe and he turned out to be a pretty decent QB, so anything is possible.

Well, he certainly telegraphs the play, doesn't he?  On pass plays, he instantly gives ground with a back-pedal a CB would be proud of.  Run plays, no such.

Wouldn’t mind Cam Phillips, after last season it’s strange nobody has. Bushell-Beatty has the body to be a solid contributor on the line but never got it together at UM. Hopefully he can be solid depth for us.
